We've put together the questions we hear most often from people exploring drone training for the first time, in case you're wondering about the same things.
Getting started
Q. I've never touched a drone before — can I still learn?
Most of our students start as complete beginners. Training moves step by step from basic controls, so there's no need to worry. Plenty of students with zero prior hands-on experience prepare fully and pass their practical exam.
Q. How long does it take to get certified?
It depends on your pace and how often you practice, but with consistent training and flight practice, most students are ready in a relatively short time. How often — and how focused — your practice sessions are makes the biggest difference.
Career questions
Q. Can I get a job or start a business right after certification?
A certificate is a starting point. Pairing it with real industrial or filming project experience puts you in a much stronger position for actual fieldwork — most people build up experience alongside their certification rather than becoming an expert from the license alone.
Q. Is there an age limit?
There's a minimum age requirement that varies by class, so it's worth confirming the requirement for your target class during a consultation.
